TERMINAL SOUND (WIP) || (2023-Present) dir. Meghan Doyle
Supported by The Lowry, Salford
Writer/Composer/Performer
Terminal Sound is a work in progress gig-theatre piece written and composed by Jack D’Arcy‘The Engineer’ has been brought into the home recording studio of a legendary artist, tasked with finishing his final album. All that has been left behind are copious, incomprehensible notes and cassette tapes. It’s his job to work through and complete this swan song—an album doused in morbidity, religiosity and sardonicism. As ‘The Engineer’ moves from mixing to recording, from tweaking to writing the songs, he begins to question whose final album this really is.

Hormonal Teenage Virgin S*x Play || (2024) dir. Debbie Bandara

Lola is a bright 16 year old music lover who decides she wants to lose her virginity with her longest school friend Jensen. The good news is: Jensen is still a virgin. The bad news is: Jensen is too awkward to say any of the words that go into actually losing your virginity. When the pairs' reasons for wanting to have sex float to the surface, we are plunged into the depths of intimacy, connection and teenage hormones.

A mystery about friendship, the nature of truth, and humanity. When it comes to it, how do you prove that you are a human?
